The population of Vang Vieng is about 25,000 people. There is a runway for airport which is parallel with the Nam Song River, but it’s been long since its last used. The township is on the main national road from Luang Phrabang to Vientiane and each evening, there is also car trip to carry people to Vang Vieng.
